Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Laayoune
Arrival in Laayoune and transfer with TripWays to your hotel or private house depending on the season. Overnight stay.
Day 2 - Dcheira → Lamsayed Oasis → Laayoune
After breakfast, departure toward Dcheira, an old Spanish-era village. Drive past the Saguia El Hamra River and visit the Lamsayed Oasis, where caravans used to stop in the past. Lunch break, then return to Laayoune to visit the Taki Museum. In the afternoon, explore the old town of Laayoune, including historic houses, the church, and the popular souk to shop for Sahrawi clothing, spices, and dates. Enjoy the best panoramic sunset view over the city, then head to the Sabor del Sahara Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Laayoune → Tarfaya → Thousand Stars Camp
Travel to Tarfaya and visit the House of the Sea, the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Museum, and the nomads’ exhibition hall. Lunch break, then continue to the Thousand Stars Camp to enjoy the sunset and spend the night in the desert.
Day 4 - Red Dune → Lagoon → Akhfennir → Laayoune
After breakfast, visit the region’s most impressive natural sites, including the largest dune in the Sahara known as the Red Dune, and the nearby lagoon. Lunch in Akhfennir, a fishing village famous for fresh seafood. Return to Laayoune and enjoy time to walk around the city’s main souk and market.
Day 5 - Laayoune Departure
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure.
